Monday made it!

I know… It’s Tuesday. But it is my first time joining this linky and I did not want to miss it!

I have had the same velcro boards for years. I use them to display helpers, fast  finishers options and many more.
It looked great at the beginning of the year but then if faded and looked messy.

This year  I have finally changed them:
Both are done with IKEA red magnetic board.
I just printed the jobs, laminated them and added some old vistaprint magnets that were left from back to school. For the helpers board I used some IKEA magnets too. I wrote my students’ numbers on each one of them.

If you look at my window you can see that I LOVE my chalkboard pens and I use them everywhere. 😉

Check out 4th Grade Frolics to see what others did!
Thanks for the linky, Tara!

My classroom pics (before and after)

I have been reading and admiring your beautiful classroom and I am finally ready to show my tiny classroom. It looks like most classrooms in Spain. We all have same cupboards and desks in public schools. I hope you like it. And please don’t judge me. I had just one day to do all the work! 🙂
We aren’t allowed to go into our classrooms until September. So when I went back to School I had only 4 days to get ready… I was a little stressed. This was how my classroom looked before.
The we had meetings for the whole first day and then I was told that my classroom was going to be painted. WHAT?!?!
Don’t get me wrong. It really needed to be painted.
Painters came and did a great job! But I was left with THIS and just 1 day to tidy up for a new year!
I was panicked! I had tons of photocopies to made too. Luckily my coworkers helped me with that 🙂
I spent all morning working in the classroom.
I am quite happy with the results. The classroom looks clean now. It is a bit smelly yet, but I will be able to hang posters next week.
I would love showing you more about the organization. But you’ll have to wait because I only had time to push everything in the cupboards. Don’t tell anybody!

So here is the last photo. The First day was a great success I had lots of compliments from students and parents. I am glad I could close those cupboard doors.

I have enjoyed all this classroom photos. Check this linky party from Swimming into Second!

Technology Tip Tuesday

Here come my technology tip for the linky.
When you have a blog, photos are very important. I have learnt that you can change almost everything with a fun website named:
It is very easy!
You don’t need to download any program, no register, you can even do it on your phone!
Just upload your photo and start cropping, sizing, coloring, editing and adding many artsy effects. You can even add fun stickers and text to the photo. This is very handy when you want to add the name of your blog.
Have fun!
